Retrosheet was founded in 1989 for the purpose of computerizing play-by-play accounts of as many pre-1984 major league games as possible. Retrosheet's work has expanded considerably from its original inception while staying focused on major league games.
Some years ago, Larry Granillo wrote a few articles providing some stats about Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang’s baseball fun. Sadly the articles are gone but the Internet Archive saved some starting here: web.archive.org/web/20100115...
