I had one, the Sony CM-R111 !
It had a flip down mic at the right hand side which seems to be removed from the ad photo 🤔

This is really cool, I take it by being 'secret' you couldn't access these pages on a TV at home. Wonder if there was a special decoder box Currys used for in-store demos of Ceefax?

I had that Commodore watch in the early 80s, a hand-me-down from a relative! It outlasted about 3 wriststraps all through school. It was retired to a drawer somewhere, wish I could find it again.
