Anyone else feel like the world has gone downhill since they discontinued Hostess Pudding Pies...I mean, those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the peak of human civilization.

Hey, 80s kids, which flavor was your favorite?

Posted @withregram • @retrorewind80s Giselle asks a very important question: what the hell does SUSSUDIO actually mean? Let’s find out!

Did you know what it meant? Let me know below!

C’mon, fellow GenXers…I think we’re all a little too hard on GenZ. I mean, we did believe some pretty silly things - that Quisp and Quake were two different cereals, that quicksand was everywhere, or that Drew Barrymore could act.

Let’s give the kids a break 🤣

What if i told you Supernatural might be the unofficial horror reboot of The Dukes of Hazzard?

Same brotherly bond. Same iconic car FEEL.

We are in the Philippines and it has been a blast.

I haven’t seen a ton of caucasians but the ones I have all seem to fit the same profile…older (60+, wearing US flag apparel), male and accompanied by younger (under 25) Filipinas. I’m most confused by their apparent use of DEI hiring practices 🤣

Somewhere along the way, the loud, obnoxious kids started to come in and start complaining and lecturing the younger kids.

I'd love to see GenX go back to being the cool, quiet kids again and leave all the bitching to the kids.

@PUMA.USA sent me this totally radially pair of sneakers from one of my all-time favorite 80s movies. That's right, they sent me a pair of neon green Ghostbusters Suede XL Slimer Sneakers and I have been wearing them all over town as I bust ghosts.

🎥This week should be a SUPER EASY 80s film. The first two might not give it away, but a GenXer should have no problems getting it in 3. I feel bad for those of you who needed number 4.

So, can you name this classic 80s film in three quotes or less?

😎About a hundred of you tagged me in this video.

🤣This girl has obviously made a mistake in thinking that a man’s age dictates his maturity. I myself stopped maturing promptly at 16 years old and have progressed any further in the 34 years that followed.

Rest in Peace Gene Hackman 😞

I just got word the one of the greatest actors of our time, Gene Hackman, has passed away. He and his wife were found at their home yesterday.

📺😱 And some of those Very Special Episodes were completely bonkers. The two worst were probably Edith's 50th Birthday from All In The Family, and the episode of Diff'Rent Strokes where Arnold leaves Dudley with Mr. Horton.🚲

Retro Rewind TV: 80s Movie Quote Challenge! Episode 5! 🤘😎

🎥This week is probably about a mid-difficult 80s film. The first two might not give it away, but a GenXer should have no problems getting it in 3. I feel bad for those of you who needed number 4.

Let's go for something just a bit different this week. That's right, this week I'm jumping into the 90s for our weekly movie challenge. You guys were getting just a bit too cocky with the 80s movies, so let's see how you do by going to a film that is about 35 years old now!

🎥It’s time again to test your knowledge of 80s movies - to see whether or not you were a true child of the 80s, or just someone pretending that Xennials are a real thing when we all know they’re fake...Here are 3 quotes from an 80s movie, let’s see if you can tell me what the name of the movie was.

Not only was Miami Vice known for being Rock & Roll Cops, but it was also known for having a whole lot of Rock Stars as guests Stars. Music was as vital to the show as Crockett & Tubbs were.

And there were a lot of musical guests!

🧐 I bet you don’t remember all 11 of these stars from the show.

🛑This question comes up a lot, and the answer is very simple. We've had to buy and rebuy all of our media and pop culture multiple times over the years, in a variety of different formats. 💿📼

😡It's no wonder we're pissed!!

Do you keep the older versions of your music/movies?

😱I'm not going to lie, but parenting before 1990 was pretty hardcore - especially for those of us growing up as 80s kids. We were neglected or ignored for the most part.

What were somethings your parents did back in the day that might be considered messed up today? 👇
