"Inktense" watercolor pencils used for background then embellished with various trims, fabrics and stitches for texture. Paint, stitch, embellish. This is a one-day class that I offer. No painting or drawing skills required.

Thought some summer flowers ( and a pretty quilt) would be the ticket for today's wintery and windy day. This is Fractured Circles using the Build As You Go machine quilting method.

Fractured Waterfall~ using KFC and batiks. This is a workshop that I offer to quilt guilds and other groups. For all skill levels, this method involves "deconstructing" your quilt and then re-assembling using the Build As You Go quilting method.

Watercolor pencil painting on unbleached canvas, then embellished with threads. Taken from a photo of the Indiana Dunes where I grew up. I made this for my mother in 2017 when she was in memory care. She loved it and it brought back so many memories for her.
