Continuing our series on using an Apple IIe in 2025, today we are getting video working. Use a vintage monitor to get that authentic CRT look? Or do we use a modern flat screen? Or maybe a modern Apple II video card? Watch on to see the options you can use in 2025!

In this short series, we are going to kit out my bare-bones Apple IIe to make it fit for "modern use". Using an Apple IIe can be fun but also a little challenging in 2025.

I attended the Sept 28th Kickstart Amiga event in Ottershaw UK over the weekend. Lots of fun as per usual and custom Amiga builds dominated the day to a degree. A video is in the edit and will be released shortly!

Well, that was a bit random. Bought 5 Core-2-Duo era CPUs to potentially upgrade my Dell E520 (2006) and... only one of them worked and of course, it was the one I DID NOT expect to work....

I hear from peers that AI is an absolute NO NO in Youtube videos. I understand their concerns, but is AI such a shibboleth that it CANNOT be used? Or is there more nuance to its use? Can you make a good Youtube vide using (some) AI?

Chapter two of the Dell E520 series. This time, we are trying to get this ailing beast back on its feet. Right now there is no video, so no boot. Can we do something about this?

Play By Mail, aka PBM, a genre of Role-playing that is I would say by now is forgotten. But did some of the later MMORPG game ideas originate here? A vide on this topic is in the works...

I'm part way through an attempted rescue of a Dell Dimension E520. Is it a "Retro" or "Vintage" PC being "just" 19 years old? Well, if I can fix it, Core 2 Duo's and Quad core choices beckon, as well as what GPU should nestle inside?

This forlorn little Dell PC was found at the side of the road near me. I whisked it off back home and now it MAY have a new life as an XP era retro gaming PC. But, does it even work? And if not, can it be saved?

Just saying hi to a new platform, well, its not NEW, but I certainly am to it. I produce a Youtube channel on the subject of retro computing. So I dabble in renovating old putes from the 70s to 2000s. Consoles also sneak in from time to time
