Great post! The Jupiter Ace is a fascinating machine—Forth was powerful but very different from BASIC, which likely limited its appeal for beginners. If schools had pushed Forth, we might have seen a shift towards stack-based thinking early on, but BASIC’s simplicity won out.

The Sam Coupé feels like a missed opportunity, while the Enterprise 128 and MTX are more obscure oddities. Nostalgia drives collectability—more people wanted a Sam, even if few had one!
