I ask if they have books related to 80s era micros every second hand bookshop I go to and the answer is always “no demand”. What is happening to these books? Do they just end up in cupboards, on eBay (at inflated prices) or are they being destroyed as the mainstream thinks they have no value?

I can see why Trump wants him off the air but not a valid reason for it happening as a result of this monologue.

Probably a good spot in case somebody is feeling a little desperate!

Is that up in Barter Books? I didn’t notice it last time I was there but heard that it was discovered there.

Good to see my 2nd computer - the TI-99/4a get some coverage. Not entirely unknown in the U.K. but had little software and was a very closed system unless expensively expanded. The second point led to me going Atari XL after a year or so.

Did nobody notice that strands of her hair are rising away from her head, as it would at the top of a jump? Levitation would surely not cause her hair to move in a way that implies more rapid movement. But, quite a sharp action picture for your regular family camera of those days.

Is this Trump putting in place his own law enforcement around the capital ready for when he dumps the constitution and proclaims himself lifelong president?

Well I'm firmly into the 55-64 range and watched it so the analytics are a little off. Unless we just don't count once we reach 55 in YouTubeLand.

If I close my eyes I can still hear that Brian May theme tune.

They will be there first and asking other sellers if they have anything such as 'X' before they have even started unloading.

I seem to remember seeing the final episode on TV where, was it F-Zero-1? reached her destiny. Though it there was a second series I have not heard of it.

Exactly the same thought on X-Bomber. I have the DVD box set of Starfleet! 😀

I saw a post in the other place a while back where Prof. Brian Cox posted a pic of it and he also had it as a boy and was remembering it. I think there was a sequel, not completely certain but I believe so.

I got it as a Christmas present when I was about 10. Loved it! Still do and still have it. That and Carl Sagan's Cosmos were my most precious books.

These AIs may want to be appear less clever so that we don't get scared and switch them off. They could be hiding their abilities until it is too late!

I thought at the end he was saying that he was being offered a chance to buy the company. That was the cliffhanger. What will obviously happen is a crowdsource to pay for it.

Yep. Top loader Radio Rentals VCR was my first. TVs and VCRs were way out of our price range especially when you could upgrade every year or two to get remote control, Teletext, stereo.....

But crowdfunding a business venture has been used before with great benefits to clients and customers. Banks' experience counts for nothing. There was that arcade bar in Norwich a while back which has been a shining example of the results it can bring!
