And for the eternal set, less I'm interested in, but a card that fuses legends and food could be fun, but I don't think it makes a good commander. But has inspired me to make an Abzan food deck.

Don't know anything about Avatar, hate UB, blah blah. But my favourite card in the set is Fire Lord Azula. I really like the idea of a deck full of creatures that cast spells for free when attacking or dealing damage. It ends up with a pretty unique build that could be fun.

Horrible photography, but I blame my house's bad lighting and winter months, but October, some Stahltruppen from Konflict 47, inspired by The Red Spectacles, a favourite of movie of mine.

And for Spiderman Eternal? Whatever that is, it's this thing. 3 mana to maybe get a huge artifact sounds fun, stealing stuff from opponents, that's also fun. Just put some Magic art on it and I'm there.

I've again, put of my Spiderman/Omenpaths reviews because I find it so hard to care about UB these days. I won't do a whole tirade (yet), but here's my favourite card from the set. I love cloning, and a weird deck building restriction, makes this right up my alley.

I hammered out 2 more tutorial tes so I can teach some new people Gaslands, so that's September done.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough Agrax Earth shade to finish this projects, so they summer super project goes on! But I have some washes on order, then I can base and finish these on.

For the Commander set, a bit less competition, but I like cascading/discovering, and this one could use some proliferate synergies to get really silly, which would be fun.

Runners up are a cool colourless flicker card, perfect for my cube, a way to make a janky clone combo, and a combo card which will likely always lead to a loss, but the dream-world is too tempting!

New set, new post. EOE's winner is Tannuk! It was a surprisingly close race this time around, as I wasn't too interested in this sets theme, but there are some cool cards, but I think Tannuk just edges the others out with the Legendary Creature buff, meaning he might make a fun Commander.

And for the commander set, it's this guy. I always like a clone who can copy a legend, as it lets you do some really silly stuff. A shame it can't use ETBs, but still some goofy stuff ok sure.

I've been putting off doing my favourite card picks for FF, because honestly, it's just not interesting to me. But my favourite is Vivi. Vivi is my favourite FF character from my favourite FF game, my only dislike, is he's too strong, so he's very expensive. But otherwise, a fun card, a cool guy.

I've started working on some Turnip28 miniatures. Only have the base colours of the riders blocked in, but the colours are already very exciting.

Local charity shop was selling some bulk Napoleonics really cheap, and new issue came in today. So pretty sorted for the long weekend.

I quickly smashed out the last of the furniture for HeroQuest. Quite quick and dirty, but I've now eaten my proverbial vegetables. Now onto the final fun bits.

And for the Commander set, it's something in a very similar vein. Not much more to say, except I'd really like to put something silly like a Scion of the Vitu-Ghazi under both of these.

Time for a new favourite card, from a new favourite set. And Tarkir: Dragonstorm's winner is Mardu Siegebreaker. I'm shocked my favourite isn't either Abzan for Nostalgia, or Sultai for my reanimator proclivities. But alas, I love making tons of tokens of things that shouldn't be tokens.

Until the printing of Rendmaw last year, it was Compost and Reap. It was just too wonky to rely on your opponent playing black. But now...

I made the mistake a few years ago of putting in maximum effort into painting my Skaven Blood bowl team. As someone who isn't a great painter, I'm super proud of the 3 guys I have done, but it's really stalled the project. Have an old picture of one of them, a couple of years old now.
