Be careful not to fall into the busyness trap.

Filling your calendar with activities makes you feel productive, but it doesn’t guarantee meaning.

Distraction can look like engagement, until the noise dies down.

Retirement was supposed to remove stress.

But for many people, it simply changes it.

Work stress is loud and obvious.
Retirement stress is quieter. A low hum of “Am I doing this right?” or “Why do I feel unsettled when life is easier?”

Not all stress is bad.

“That was worth it.”

Bad stress ends with:

“I’m exhausted and I don’t know why.”

That difference matters.

If an activity drains you and gives nothing back, it may be time to let it go.
