Ventricular fibrillation "flare up"? Odd wording...v fib is not like a cold sore. It is an invariably deadly heart arrhythmia and I believe he has an implanted defibrillator. "Episode" would be a more appropriate wording.

Is he wrong....I thought Powell alluded to this as well, as in decreasing the GDP leading to a recession deflationary.

The bigger danger is the excuse of "an ongoing investigation" to stifle the conversation....kind of like "my taxes are being audited"

I think it is "dissolved" by water....kind of what they did in "The Americans". I saw an article about a firm that was using the residue as fertilizer...somehow I don't want to be stirred in with other liquified strangers, poured into a plastic jug and sprayed like pesticide. But that's me.

Far be it from me to "well actually" in defense of Megan Kelly, but...it is true that there is a nuanced difference between the sexual pathologies of people sexually attracted to pre pubescent vs young adolescents. Both however are predatory and criminal so "at least she isn't old enough to get

A US Attorney has to administer a large office staff, so yes, indeed that experience helps. I personally thought she did pretty well. I lived through 3 massive snowstorms with three mayors; of the three it was Jenny Durkan who got the streets cleared. Worst was Mr. Bicycle who just kind of shrugged

I think the Biden/Harris agenda is a good place to start. Middle out, bottom up economics. Clean energy. Rebuild the train system. Real DEI. Tax the wealthy. Finish the job that Biden/Harris started.

Having lived in Seattle at the time, this is a gross mischaracterization. Ed Murray had been a popular legislator before he ran as the first out gay person for mayor. A lot of people were profoundly dismayed after initial disbelief when the allegations emerged. To target Harrell is dishonest.

Want to take bets that DOJ will say Texas was justified because of faulty census numbers
November 14, 2025 at 4:09 AM
The close contest means that Harrell was not particularly unpopular (as opposed to "the other option" in NYC) whereas the city attorney and City Council President were WAY disliked.
November 14, 2025 at 4:08 AM
Sure, no question. Just saying the comparison with NYC is not apt. Every unhappy city is unhappy in different ways....

Ah, for once the Dems were able to seize the narrative. Of course, they had all that help from Speaker Johnson...this would have been so 40 days ago if he had just sworn in Grijalva when he should have.
