Happy Halloween! Here's the temperature blanket, one month closer to completion. You can see at the top of the picture that the lighter teal, for temps in the upper 70s, gave way to the dark green (67 - 75), turquoise (57 - 66), and light gray (47- 56).

Time for the temperature blanket update! One row per day,in a color chosen for that temperature range. As I chose shades of teal for warm temps, to match our home, September has been all teal. Bonus cat pic because Pip likes to know what's up.

Here's the latest progress on my 2025 temperature blanket. One row a day; 5 more months to go!
It's the last day of June, and time for a temperature blanket update. I decided to rinse 6 months' worth of lint and cat hair out of it, and block the 1st half before moving to the second half. It should end up as a 62"x 32" lap robe/ throw.

This is my end of month report on my 2025 temperature blanket. I have started adding a crocheted edge in the teal that will, I think, end up being the dominant color. It's for temps from 75°- 84°. That's a chair on our porch, which is a lovely spot to knit on a spring day.

It's the last day of April, and time for my monthly update on the temperature blanket I'm knitting. As you can see, there's much more of the teal shade. That color represents temperatures between 75° and 84°. Dark green and aqua are for 56° -74°.The gray shades of winter? Stored away for now. 😊

As March ends, it's time to check the progress on my temperature blanket, with 1 row being added each day in a color assigned to a temperature range that includes the high for the day. You can see that the icy grays of winter have given way to the teals and greens I assigned to warmer temperatures.

We've named this one Smudge, because of the patch on her back. Here she is sitting on a bunch of yarn and preventing me from knitting it. 😅
