Does this action put veterans ( I’m one) where they will lose to some degree 1st amendment rights or less ability to speak out than civilians who never served?. I see this as an attack on the constitution as well as UCMJ.

Let’s count: Trump has corrupted congress, the Supreme Court, justice department, department of education , and now the Defense department. We are in dangerous waters. All the heroes have either resigned or were fired. All we have left are trumpies.

Comey’s case is now past the statute of limitations. Prosecution seems unlikely plus the Justice department can’t find a prosecutor who will take the case.

No prosecutor would dare ruin their career by trying to take this. Maybe Halligan but she’s toast as far as her career is concerned. There is no case . Telling someone to obey the law is not a crime let alone it’s a 1st amendment right. Trump is a truly sick and wicked man.

At least they go on record. I believe now the Senate will pass it because they know Trump won’t release it even after he signs it. Pam Bondi will be the one to say I won’t because it’s under investigation

You nailed it. The public won’t buy this . What will happen is documents and emails in public domain will continue to implicate Trump and if any person is investigated they’ll throw Trump under the bus. Victims will talk.
