Beautiful #PoolDay in #Denver #Colorado at #SentralUnionStation. Can’t believe it’s September 18th and going up to 77 F. Only problem is the pool and hot tubs are currently closed for maintenance.

At the #GreenRiver #Utah #Amtrak station heading back to #Denver. Not much here in town tho I did find these wonderful birdhouses this AM. It’s a beautiful day for a train ride thru the #Rockies.

This the part of the #BigTenCurve near #Arvada #Colorado. These cars were placed here in the late 60’s or early 70’s as a windbreaker for passing trains. Winds can exceed 100 MPH at times. This has prevented many trains from being blown off the tracks. They are welded to the tracks.
