Your grandparents didn’t go to Europe in WWII carrying signs. They had knives, and guns, and bombs and it was the correct and moral thing to do.
The word is Resist, not acquiesce.

They do not need optics. They will create them. They will find one burning trashcan and show it on the news 24 hours a day for weeks.

Some of you policing optics believe that this can be won through moral high ground and pointing out hypocrisy of those pushing for “small government”.

There must be push-back. There must be reciprocation. The fear and respect must go both ways.

If people are coming at you with guns and tear gas with an intent to do harm you have a right to defend yourself. Stop letting them do whatever they please.

If you see people being disappeared by masked individuals it is a moral imperative to stop them. If someone is being beaten and killed you have a moral imperative to stop the aggressor.

Anyone who is working to take these rights away is an enemy of the US constitution, an enemy of the ideals of this country, and of humanity. They should be treated appropriately.

Authoritarianism is not compatible with freedom. Our constitution protects us from search and seizure, and grants us rights to due process and a fair trial. The constitution says these rights apply to everyone not just citizens.

Because you have been fed years of billionaire propaganda that says violence must only flow downward. If you are focusing on the behavior of those being beaten but not the ones beating them then you are doing their work for them.

You are ensuring that violence is only used by the oppressors.
Why is it that the oppressed are the ones who must always be perfect and submissive and docile?

Peaceful protest can only exist if all parties allow it. If law enforcement is initiating violence then we are beyond that point. If you are asking protestors to not be violent while violence is being used against them you are not asking for peaceful protesting. Y
