However Durbin is the whip. His going against the party line is unforgivable and should, at least, cause his resignation from leadership. Schumer's failure to even mention Durbin's name, and admonish him directly, suggests Schumer is complicit.

Durbins is the whip, the one who is supposed to get the party aligned. And he voted against his caucus's obvious direction. His defiance of the party line means he must resign his position as whip. By not saying anything about Durbin's actions, Schumer is complicit.

This isn't new. I know of someone who came to the USA on a work visa for a 2 week course. He made the mistake of saying he was going to visit his brother after the course too. But that's not work, he was told he would have to leave the USA immediately his course finished. They are soulless a'holes.
