Happy Women's History Month! 💪
It's part of our mission to program music that deserves to be heard, and Lili Boulanger's stunning Nocture (played beautifully by violinist Sandro Leal-Santiesteban and pianist Mark Trawka) certainly fits the bill. #womenshistorymonth

Often, #classicalmusic & #opera is associated with the wealthy & powerful. We know those spaces haven't always been welcoming. But #MUSIC IS FOR EVERYONE! It's our job to make our performances as inclusive and welcoming as the music itself is.

No matter who you are, you're welcome at Res Works.

Jorge Sosa and Cerise Lim Jacobs' #opera, 'I Am a Dreamer Who No Longer Dreams,' examines the complexities of American identity through the eyes of two #immigrant women. Music helps us understand one another. That's why it's so vital to tell these stories onstage. Helen Zhibing Huang sings Singa.
