The sassiest, classiest black cat who SHOULD be getting pampered but instead has to deal with these fascist fucks trying to ruin the world. Thanks to that orange dictator dipshit and his bootlicking cronies, she’s been forced to trade naps for revolution.

Because when we refuse to use their money and we strike they are then left to their own devices. Their machines won't do the work for them, they need operators. The food doesn't magically harvest itself. If we choose to keep that food to our own economy what will they eat, gold?

This is noted among several authors on fascism including Christopher Browning, Steven Levitsky, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Timothy Snyder, Leon Trotsky, and Paul Mason.

Alternative economies are built on that community so we need to start there. Not using their money is a very powerful tool.

I know people say "build community" and people wonder how that helps. Here:

When we build community it forms our bonds to resist their physical threats. Additionally, if we combine this with a strike and/or gift economy it helps cripple the economic systems that prop fascists up. 🧵

I am working on setting up some phone calls via signal that will align these smaller movements into a larger group. That said, grow a garden, bulk buy, build community.
