Take care of body! 💜

I absolutely have to get dressed. The clothes that are comfortable for sleeping are not comfortable for being upright and doing things around my house. And vice versa. Though getting dressed is sweat pants, soft bralette, and a t-shirt, so, nothing wild.

BloomChic? I'm style blind, couldn't tell you what their clothes qualify as, but they have some neat stuff.

If you ever want to try, walk in clinics can refer people to specialists. Not saying they will, but they are capable of doing so. If that ever feels worth your time and energy to pursue (not always a lot of that to go around I know).

No worries!

The article mentions that there is an exception for medical masks. 👍🏻

Conflating machine learning tools with GenAI and LLMs are such a favorite of these bad faith arguments, too. Like, machines studying X-rays to better understand cancer is not the same thing as Open AI swallowing all my books via piracy to regurgitate sentences that sound similar. It's just not.

Our doctor's office has this music with trumpets and bass guitar and electric guitar and I hate it, it's so energetic and on such a short loop xP

Ugh, yeah, I feel you... I used to play with makeup so much more pre-pandemic. Eyeshadow over a medical mask just isn't the same vibe 🙃

I call that the sore tooth problem, sometimes you need to poke it and confirm that yep, it still hurts xP I do the same thing too.

Sounds reasonable to me! 😊

Not to make it another "Canada is better than the US for Healthcare" but I am actually surprised that your health insurances don't cover more of the paramedical stuff, surely that's cheaper in the long run...
October 4, 2025 at 12:48 AM
Canadian insurance typically does cover those kinds of things, which is nice!(in case anyone isn't aware, Canada basically covers anything to do with a doctor through taxes, but other health services are typically private, with insurance plans typically through work covering those, that's the tldr)

Also they're fucking DOCTORS, they're getting paid the big bucks just to shell out the same shit we could find on Instagram. Dig deeper ffs.

I've got brain fog atm so forgive me, but I think this 'well studies show exercise and diet etc' stuff is just separating out people who have simple problems from those with complex issues.

Uuuggghhh I'm sorry 😭
October 2, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Good luck, fingers crossed! 🤞🏻 I get that anxiety around meeting a new doc, having prior bad experiences, and hoping they'll be a good one... Weirdly my worst experiences have been with female doctors, so hopefully this guy is as nice as the male doctors I've seen! 🤞🏻
