Heart and Soul Res Flower "Catra." She says firmly, eyes flying up to the other woman’s face. "I wouldn't choose anyone in the world to be stuck with after an alien invasion other than you. If the world were normal, I'd still wish for us to meet. No matter the circumstances ... I want this." Adora doesn't move her hand, but she keeps her touch light enough that Catra can pull away if she wants to. "If you don't feel the same, it'll be alright. But I need you to know." Adora will put on a brave face, even if the thought of not having Catra makes her want to die. Catra's holding her, one arm wrapped tightly around her waist. "I—fuck." She curses, her voice charged. "Adora, you're my miracle. I can't believe that I found you against all odds. And if I had the chance to save the whole world from these stupid worm aliens but I'd have to give you up—" She sighs. "I wouldn't do it." Adora's heart thunders in her chest at the declaration. "That's wrong." She points out, but she's smiling as she does it. Catra smiles back, eyes warm. "Super fucked up, but no less true." OR Glimmer, an alien, is implanted in Adora's body. They find their way back to Adora's family. The Host AU.

A Picture's Worth ResFlower Summary: A new message pops up along with what might be the sexiest photo Adora’s ever seen. It’s stupid, right? Adora stares at the words for a minute, trying to make sense of them. You should keep it. It’s not stupid at all. The response is instantaneous. I should have bought it in red. Adora shakes her head even though Catra can’t see her. She ends up pushing the call button on her phone without really thinking about it. “The pink looks gorgeous on you. Really. I’m not just saying that.” “You don’t have to—” “I know.” Every bone in her body wishes she could show Catra just what she thinks about the lingerie set. She couldn’t believe it then, sitting on Catra’s bed as her soon-to-be ex-girlfriend looked at her nervously. Adora had been looking at train schedules to figure out how often she could visit, but Catra was on a whole other page. One that didn’t have her written into it. It makes her think that she took Catra’s choice to not answer her texts often as disinterest. It’s definitely not that. If anything, Catra doesn’t want to come off as some wide-eyed girl who’s hanging off Adora because she’s starstruck. Yet, sitting this close to Adora, she can hardly think of the reasons why she shouldn’t try to rekindle what’s clearly still between them, just waiting to be set ablaze. Catra raises her glass to meet Adora’s a light tinkling sound reverberating between them. “How about to a long night spent however we choose?” OR Adora and Catra, two lawyers, navigate sleeping together in different stages of life (alternatively, a fic I never thought I'd write). I'm generally doing well! I've taken up a new sport in the last year and I've been busy with work and family stuff. I've also been working on some writing which I always find really healing. I have a few trips coming up in the next few months im excited about. Thats pretty much it at the moment.

The woman’s eyes were so expressive—it’s like they’re yelling, are you ok? Catra purses her lip and plops her head to rest on her hand, looking out at the attractive woman. She makes a show of rubbing her eyes tired and then making a frown upset. The other woman frowns in return, one of her hands tight on her harness and the other searching the bucket at her hip. She pulls out her brush and Catra turns back to her computer, trying to make sense of the few notes she’s been given access to, until she hears another knock at the window. The corners of her lips involuntarily turn up as she sees the smiley face drawn into the foam. OR 5 times Adora and Catra meet through glass and once in person. Window washer Adora AU.
