I would say it's more classic hard bop than avant garde / free jazz territory. Yet I agree that it's more modern and adventurous sounding. Loved it anyway! Thanks for the advice!

A highlight is her seamless incorporation of Ukrainian folk motifs, which she manages to integrate in a way that feels organic and genuine — far removed from the formulaic and often kitsch stylings often seen on Eurovision. ISTYNA is a pleasure to listen to.
