Mr. Musk maintains an account on Russian social media site VK, their Facebook equivalent. The profile picture of him is the "Dogefather" image where he is holding a chainsaw during his appearance at CPAC. The account has 296,000 followers.

Elon Musk claimed that X is under "coordinated" and "massive cyberattack." Site functions are intermittent at best. Post below was made 13:25 EDT.

Doing some research on eggs. Seems like Townsquare Media, owner of many stations in MN, is all over an alleged egg shortage at one Costco. I'm in NY. This is one of several from different stations with versions of the same post. An interesting ag/eco story with lots of misinfo around.
Facebook post from radio station 96.7 The River that was asking if, "anyone else been to Costco lately? Did you find any eggs there?" It appears that nobody has replied.

The term "uncertainty", here in the context of the economy or the future, has been trending upward since mid-November on social media platforms. Requests for additonal social media reporting and intelligence research can be made here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

#Journalists activity on Bluesky continues increasing although the surge in the two weeks after Election Day has slowed. It captures their posts, their comments, their reposts, and quoted reposts of others' posts. It is found based on bio terms that journalists often use. Not perfect. 1/

The left axis shows percentage increase from the November 1st baseline of 100% and the right axis depicts journalists' activity by count of their posts, reposts, quote reposts and comments. The November 1st baseline is about 5,000. The rate of increase was flat until about November 4th which was Election Day in the U.S.A. It increased quickly for two weeks after that and has been slowly rising since until the chart's end date of December 4th. As of December 4th, there has been just over a 400% increase in activity with just over 18,000 counted posts, reposts, quoted reposts, and comments.

This is what Content Credentials, a way to check content like still images & videos origin and provenance, looks like at #LinkedIn. The CR pin is clickable revealing the content's history. It's an open standard by c2pa.org. @bsky.app could (and should) support this.

New Yorkers appeared unhappy with New York and New York City after receiving mobile phone alerts too long after feeling the 10:25 am earthquake. Many of the mentions are critical of the lateness of the alerts and were similar to this one:

If you're a #forester or are involved in #forestry (according to your #SocialMedia biography) you were likely to get more engagement posting on forestry and related topics than you did on politics or other topics outside of it. #SocialMediaResearch #MarketResearch #Research #ResearchInsights

Those posting on culture and politics represented the highest share with 11,687 posts over the 100 day period in the study. This was followed by those who also mention involvement in agriculture and farming with about 9,400 posts followed by Government Forestry account, private businesses, and academic related accounts with 7,900, 5,400, and 5,300 respectively. Female Loggers earned the highest engagement per post at well over nine thousand followed by the federal labor union that represents California National Forest Employers at over two thousand three hundred engagements per posts, more than the number of their Instagram account followers. Those posting on Culture and Politics, which were the most prolific posting accounts overall, earned less than 10 engagements per post.

The Children's Health Defense web page, starting with the top page, is almost a campaign ad for RFK. Digging deeper, their CHD.TV is rich with Kennedy-centered content made recently <https://live.childrenshealthdefense.org/chd-tv/search/> possibly in violation of its 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
