At today's SDG Showcase, we heard from Dr Jakub Gajewski, co-lead of @surg-water.bsky.social, the winning team of the SDG 13 Challenge: Climate Action. The team developed a low-cost solar disinfector to treat harvested rainwater for healthcare facilities in Malawi. @rcsi.bsky.social

We heard from Professor Sean Doyle of Maynooth University, team lead of NEOSEPSIS, winners of the first SDG Challenge focused on SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing. The team works to transform sepsis testing in Uganda, where sepsis causes 17 neonatal deaths per day. @maynoothuniversity.ie
