As shown in the figure, there is a clear spatial segregation: the left side is predominantly composed of the black single crystal, with negligible amounts of the red phase, while the right side is dominated by the red single crystal, with the black phase being largely excluded.

🧪 #chemsky A new single crystal was recently synthesized and obtained, featuring two individual crystals that grew together. This is the second time I have observed this kind of intergrown or concomitant single crystal pair. #Chemistry #SingleCrystal

The submission journey since September has been utterly demoralizing. One manuscript finally cleared desk review for external assessment; the remainder were immediate rejections (desk reject city 🫠). The emotional toll is significant. #Chemistry #Chemsky 🧪

Pre-conference Symposium of 21st IZC,2025 in Changchun China.
I was fortunate to significantly enrich my understanding of molecular sieves at the conference, particularly through Professor Sofia Calero's insights into the Raspa software for simulating adsorption and separation in porous materials.

🧪 #chemsky It is quite disheartening that the well-faceted single crystal, after such an extensive cultivation period, was ultimately identified as nothing more than a ligand.
