Some ten years or so after the last Wickerman Festival the last line of defence of the site came to its end. Oh, how I miss the festival, I could walk home to my own bed and "freshen up" before doing it all again the next day.

Last night our neighbours cat was sitting at my garden gate in the rain. A cold dark night and we were without power, so he was offered shelter in front of the stove. It took about half an hour for him to make himself at home.
