I strongly recommend "A City On Mars" by Kelly Weinersmith and Zach Weinersmith. I was a big fan of the possibility of colonizing Mars (despite Musk), and read this expecting to learn about the solutions for all the problems we'll face. It was the opposite. www.acityonmars.com

I am a bit less than halfway through the book. It is fantastic, very enlightening. I'll be recommending it to all my friends who think about AI and what is going on with big tech and politics.

Far worse than extending a trilogy is starting a trilogy and never finishing it. Looking at you, Patrick Rothfuss!

Yes, authors *owe* us nothing, but I will never again start reading an unfinished trilogy.
