Regulation also leads to bad user experience. Like the frustrating cookie popups. Sometimes it's good though with the easy subscription cancellation. I think credit with mandatory links to sources should be a good start. Maybe mandatory bot user agent. Hard to enforce any of it, no incentives.

This gave me nostalgic flashbacks for a free demo I used to play on the PS1 - looks nice!

The whole ad driven business model is hurt by ai and we need something new. Search engines and cards were bad enough at extracting content without credit, but this is on another level. I can't think of a way to fix this without a worse user experience or regulations.

Personality!
Luck: probability to get injured while doing something / finding rare items
Compliance: will actually follow the directions given or otherwise get distracted
Maybe Preference/Aspiration: skill boost
Those could be inherited

Interesting! I found that out was pretty good for performance optimization to avoid unnecessary copies.
I ended up with a .copy/.clone and otherwise assume you're changing the vector.

Tell me you didn't build your own math library 😅

Nice! How do you draw the partial shape of the character as they move behind an object? Is the world 2.5d? Or some mask that detects where they aren't visible somehow?

I did the same thing! With dynamic loading too - for webdev, first contenful paint will give you a terrible lighthouse score...
