While I was visiting IUN, I spoke with students in the TRIO program about the their experiences in college and how they are preparing to succeed after graduation. I’ll continue to tell their stories & advocate for the ability of all students to achieve their goals and obtain a good-paying job in NWI

Why are the tax benefits for working families temporary, but handouts for billionaires and the privileged are permanent? Communities in Northwest Indiana are struggling with increasing costs and know it’s because the Republican so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” is unfair toward working families.

Spoke on the House floor yesterday regarding the rising costs of utility bills. The federal government should be building, not blocking projects that lower costs, strengthen our economy, and create American jobs.
