She's dead. She died in my arms. She underwent rigor mortis in my arms. I placed her in a towel, in a box. Tomorrow, she will go to the vets and cremation will be organized.

The actual information is that if she shows no signs of improvement by Monday, we'll probably have to let her go. I don't have any hope, but I'll keep trying.

Still alive. Vet did some more tests (results pending). Given us another syringe better suited for feeding, and special food and broth. Things continue, except unhinged rambling, which has been further postponed.

Other members of household taking her to the vet. Her breathing is labored. I'm worried.
One member has an attitude towards this I and the other member find frustrating. I can kind of tell their own issues are coloring this. I think the other member will do their part, though.

Getting maybe a tube and a half of treat for her each day. It's not enough, but it's just trying to keep her going. Lethargic.
She has her regular vet visit soon. The household is waiting to see how a bill for something else goes.

So, not so much broth as soft tube treats for now. We give her a bit every few hours during the day. She has shown occasional slight interest in consuming food from plates (albeit very little).
It's not much.

Reverting back to broth centric feeding, for various reasons. Frustrating, but it's tightrope to walk because trying to feed her other stuff ended up being extremely difficult and she vomited a little. Broth doesn't do that, and it's better to have something she can keep down.

Continued update: we are now also trying to feed her via blended food, to ensure she is getting additional, meal-like calories and nutrition.
Her weight drop has been pretty severe. She was 11 lb/5 kg a month ago, she is now 8.3lb/ 3.8 kg.

Update: We are currently getting a special broth type into cat friend via syringe. She also gets a small amount of smooth paste type food when we give her the anti-nausea medication. She had a small amount of wet food via as making her eat it.

It's not the only reason I'm not really around, but this thing is causing me a particular sort of mortality stress. And I'm stressed in part because this is something she could recover from. It doesn't have to be terminal. But will it be, because of extenuating factors?

There is a possibility my cat friend will die because of something the vet fucked up with, and our own inability to actually pay for the level of care she might need, and I'm losing it a little.
