State Representative for CT-17 (Avon/Canton). She/her. Mom, wife, Democrat, writer. Kentucky Colonel. Nevertheless, she persisted.
Today, we wore purple in honor of #PurpleThursday to raise awareness about Domestic Violence. 1 in 4 women in CT will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime.

At the legislature, we lift up the critical work done by DV advocates and we prioritize legislation that helps save lives.

Can confirm. Democratic states not doing enough.
Every time someone says “they built new housing in my neighborhood and rent didn’t go down”, hit them over the head with this image
Here's a map of the housing shortage by state, in absolute terms.

Democrats just aren't building enough in their states. Especially CA.

Last week, I sat down with Dan Newmeyer of CT Politics TV. We started with a “getting to know you” segment followed by a discussion of the recent targeting of Rep. Corey Paris and my subsequent doxing for speaking out.

Thanks for having me!

Proud to stand with my former colleagues at Connecticut Foodshare on the first day of #HungerActionMonth as we celebrated the legislative win of the CT-NAP (nutritional assistance program) bill.

For more than 20 years, the state provided CT-NAP with around $850,000. 1/

Labor Day is a time to celebrate the dedication, and resilience of workers everywhere.

You can thank the labor movement for having weekends off, employee, assistance programs, and worker protections, to name a few. If it weren’t for the labor movement, your work life would look very different.

On Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to overdose and stand with the families and communities affected. Together, let’s break the stigma around addiction, spread awareness, and work toward solutions to save lives across Connecticut.💜

Every day is exhausting watching the U.S. being destroyed from within.
Chinese officials "were saying, it's very interesting to watch President Trump because we've had a long-term strategy to basically try to weaken and divide America's alliances....President Trump is just doing it for us."

My heart is in Minneapolis with the families of the eight and ten year old killed in the cowardly shooting today.

I keep thinking of the 5th grader who said his friend laid on top of him “he saved my life, but he got hit.” 1/2

Today, we stood with our friend and colleague State Representative Corey Paris and already, the same account that targeted him is targeting me and others for speaking up.

Representative Paris broke no laws. By the definition of doxxing, he didn’t doxx law enforcement as doxxing refers 1/
