TY DCDP, for honoring me & the TX House Dem members that broke quorum as defenders of democracy. The threat of losing our democracy is far greater than any punishment for breaking quorum. It was a privilege to stand up against Trump & the Republicans who have traded their integrity for his approval.

A cowboy represents strength, independence, & doing what’s right — values Texas once held proudly but has lost under Greg Abbott’s leadership. Thank you, @JBPritzker, for stepping up to protect our voting rights when our own governor would not.

The investigation and the threat of firing educators over political views not expressed in the classroom or while on duty are politically motivated censorship that attack the First Amendment rights of every teacher in this state.
