They haven’t just disappeared, they’ve shown up in our shopping carts. And with the holiday season now here, Valley families will feel it in rising grocery bills.

Nearly 30% of households in my district rely on SNAP to help put food on the table. But when the One Big Beautiful Bill became law, it enacted over $187 billion in cuts over the next 10 years.

22,000 people in my district will face skyrocketing healthcare costs if the Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium tax credits are not extended. This would force hardworking families to choose between healthcare or other basic needs.

The Affordable Care Act premium tax credits are set to expire at the end of this year, just one month away, which will force 22,000 people in my district to face skyrocketing costs.
It is critical that Congress address this not just with promises, but with legislative action.

Over the weekend, I had the honor, once again this year, of presenting medals to eight local veterans. From the Korean War to the Vietnam War, these brave men and women answered the call to serve and defend our freedoms.
