This legislation is about fairness. The relationship between tenants and landlords should be balanced, with both sides knowing their rights and responsibilities. However, that is often not the case. By giving tenants the information and tools they need, we can empower more renters.

This legislation is about fairness. The relationship between tenants and landlords should be balanced, with both sides knowing their rights and responsibilities. However, that is often not the case. By giving tenants the information and tools they need, we can empower more renters.
The more tenants know, the less they can be exploited & the more confident they are in advocating for themselves: whether that means requesting needed repairs, ensuring their home is safe & habitable or understanding the eviction process. Learn more below. housedems.com/michigan-law...
