Honored to attend #IITSEC 2025—hosted at the Orange County Convention Center!

Obamacare rates are skyrocketing due to House Republicans’ inaction. 📈

In #FL9, we have 275k constituents enrolled, the second-most in the nation. It’s time to come together to #SaveObamacare and lower healthcare costs.

In the Natural Resources Committee, Dems are standing united as we fight to stop Trump’s ban on clean energy projects.

As electricity rates rise due to AI and data centers, we need all the energy solutions, including wind, solar, hydro, nuclear, and natural gas, to ensure lower energy costs.
November 28, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I attended the CHCI #TechSummit, where we discussed rising demand from AI and data centers, and pushing back against Trump’s attack on clean energy to lower energy costs and protect our environment.

Hispanics are nearly 18% of the energy workforce and integral to long-term progress.

We hosted @ibewinternational.bsky.social members to discuss our pro-worker agenda: Protecting health care/pension benefits, passing a new infrastructure law, and delivering major projects like expansions of I-4, MCO & SunRail/Brightline, Poinciana Pkwy, and more. We are proud to be #UnionStrong!

Everyone is welcome at Orlando’s world-famous theme parks, hotels, beaches, and lakes. 🏝️ ☀️

Tourism remains steady, but we face some headwinds from tariffs, deportations, and the economy. That’s why I am proud to support the Visit USA Act!

This week, @ffcongress.bsky.social met with @microsoft.com, Google, and OpenAI to discuss AI development, new jobs, cybersecurity, consumer safety, deepfakes, and more.

November 13, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Yesterday, @housedemocrats.bsky.social stood united in fighting to lower healthcare costs for the American people. We will continue working together to lower healthcare, grocery, and housing costs, stop rampant corruption, and hold a lawless president accountable.

After nearly 40 years of breaking ceilings and blazing trails, Nancy Pelosi reminds us: Leadership isn’t about holding power—it’s about serving the people.

I’m grateful to have worked with her on key issues impacting Central Florida and wish her every success in what’s ahead.

It’s time to #SaveObamacare, release SNAP benefits, and reopen the government!

We visited Second Harvest to discuss the harmful impacts SNAP cuts are having on Central Florida families and the charitable organizations helping to fill the void.

Floridians are being crushed under rising healthcare, food, and housing costs.

FL Republicans have been too focused on culture wars. This survey bucks their national narrative today.

Saving Obamacare would make a big difference!

We recently met with constituents hit hard by HUGE hikes to Obamacare:

💬 Carol’s cost is jumping from $52 → $900/month
💬 Stan’s family faces a 400% hike—from $514 → $2,269
💬 Many of Wyel’s clients will go uninsured next year

We must save Obamacare & reopen the government.

#HurricaneMelissa was the strongest hurricane to make landfall in Jamaica. Millions of lives will be uprooted. This is close to home for many Caribbean Americans.

I led a letter to the Dept of State with @reppablojose.bsky.social & others urging U.S. disaster relief for DR, Cuba, Bahamas, & more.
October 31, 2025 at 6:45 PM
@housedemocrats.bsky.social were in DC this week working to stop a HUGE healthcare hike for millions of Americans on November 1. Republicans have stayed home for five weeks straight.

We stand with federal workers and are ready to reopen the government.

I joined @repjahanahayes.bsky.social, @repangiecraig.bsky.social, and 211 @housedemocrats.bsky.social in sending a letter to @usdagov.bsky.social Secretary Rollins urging the agency to use contingency reserve dollars to fund SNAP during the government shutdown. 42M children & families are at risk.

Trump’s billionaire ballroom will rival the size of the White House itself.

What a gilded abomination!
October 27, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Thank you to nearly 10,000 constituents who joined our Save Obamacare Tele-Town Hall.

I remain hard at work to stop a HUGE healthcare hike of 75% or more to Obamacare for 271,000+ constituents and end the #RepublicanShutdown.
October 24, 2025 at 1:04 PM
Met with members of the CF AFL-CIO alongside Rep. Maxwell Frost. We had an important discussion about fighting to stop the GOP Healthcare Crisis, saving Obamacare, & reopening the government.

We heard their concerns & reaffirmed our commitment to standing with them during this challenging time.

We visited AdventHealth in Kissimmee to hear firsthand about how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) helps many local residents access quality care.

They made it clear: Cuts to Obamacare would harm patients, lead to a spike in emergency visits by the uninsured, and put local hospitals in fiscal distress.
