Is it the thumpy one (tensor tympani syndrome)? I get that when I get too stressed. Got my own personal little drummer boy in my ear.

Gotta try to place the xylimelts in fresh spots each time or eventually the adhesive starts to irritate your gums. Biotene also makes dry mouth toothpastes and mouthwashes that help!

I'm waiting on That specialist appointment in about a month now, sure would be nice to be able to use my anti-inflammatory prescription eyedrops without feeling like I'm putting napalm on my face.

My phone is a good enough flashlight to find a real flashlight without walking into anything when the power goes out and I appreciate that. But yeah, it's not a real flashlight.

I kinda wish because we'll definitely qualify for a return, but I have to wait for paperwork my employer is unlikely to send much before the deadline...

Credit union? Ours has been great. Can't recommend a specific one though, we're using Beem up here but so far it's only in BC (but does have functional online banking and an app).

The Steam Deck runs on Linux which means Steam games SHOULD all be able to run on Linux, but I have not tested this theory outside of fighting FFXIV into working on my Deck.

The shelter in place is of course as much for the bear's safety as the kids. But they do bear-aware training every new school year just in case.

There's a bear (and her two cubs, although at this time of year I don't know if there's still two cubs) living in the ravine that runs right up against my kids' school, and every once in a while they have a shelter-in-place because she decided to wander up in view of the playground.

The few times I did manage to get started early I got a worse mark than when I did it all in a last minute panic, which was the opposite of a motivator to keep doing things early.

We have kinda been putting it however it happens to be in hand when it needs refilling now that the kids (and the cat) are older and don't mess with it, possibly eventually we'll get locked in on the "correct" way.

Lots of schoolbusss have compartments underneath the seats for folding walkers, hockey bags, etc. Or they just have large wheels and the steps are for small kids to be able to get on easily.

Yeah I'm trying but the specialist appointment isn't until February and I have limited bathroom trips available while I'm teaching. D:
