I mean I don't do too much world building IN the books but I do tons of writing about worldbuilding outside my books. Like planning dutff etc

I personally like the worldbuilsing aspects of books and in alot of books I read I feel like instead of directly following the story or the main cast I like to weave around to try and understand the realm the writer created - as that's what I enjoy most in reading

Whilst we live in a society that can easily be swayed and taken advantage of by sweet words I can't believe that it isn't illegal to promote conspiracy theories and litteraly lie to people for the purpose of political power and clout

Same is true about most creative works I feel. Nobody goes around saying "Darn! I missed the boat to see the Moana Lisa! No point going now!"
So why do we say that about videogames, music, books or TV shows and movies?

I'm disappointed. Was suppose to be storm in the UK where I am. Was just cloudy in the morning with a few drops of rain and a bit of wind. Hoping day 2 is a bit better of a show 3/10

What they mean is the main talking point behind not letting men in women's restrooms is because they could be predators.
They are saying that if a man was such a person, would they really stop just because a rule says so?
Meaning they likely wouldn't care, because disgusting people will still be.

Which sadly, alot of the general pop think is what we are so worked up about.
If the people that oppress us are going to play the people game then we are going to have to aswell.

For us it's because we are currently facing a lot of hate due to the fact that we are trans. We would love to not need that distinction but whilst that part of us is a "political talking point" we'll need it to defend ourselves.

I think for me the part i found cool but also scary about cyberpunk 2077 was that despite how sci-fi it felt it also felt so real? Like a health insurance company that litteraly employs a paramilitary to guard its ambulance and their wealthy customers? For a dystopian future that actually feels real
