My first attempt at making (vegan) stroopwafels! Cutting them isn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Not eating them all right now, on the other hand, is.

Sure, the world is pretty terrible right now, but at least I got to enjoy my egg fitting perfectly on this ladle today.

And then there’s this one - Fiori di Sole by Romi Hill. It’s a color I don’t wear much anymore, but the yarn (a cashmere blend) is gorgeous and it was a lot of fun to knit. #showmeyourknits

This week’s #showmeyourknits is shawls? Oh, I’ve got shawls. I don’t wear most of the lacy ones much these days but this one is still a daily staple. Agervang by Lisa Harder, modified to be a wider, shorter triangle, in two colorways of Aade long in a mosaic pattern.

I’m great at knitting socks, but terrible at repairing them. Time to watch darning tutorials on repeat and practice.

Using Bernadette Banner’s book my friend got me for the holidays to get over my fear of hand sewing buttonholes. After an hour of practice, they’re getting less crappy. Sort of. I just want to wear this coat.
