4. godsibb - Yuki Kajiura

I got into Xenosaga thanks to a very good friend of mine, and while they're very good JRPGs, the music just kicks it up to eleven. This and "Promised Pain" blew my mind the first time I heard them.

3. Prosperous Futures - Alien Ant Farm

A more recent song-- Feelsy, but definitely a banger, and one from a group that I've enjoyed listening to since I first heard "Wish" while playing THPS3 on my Gamecube.

2. Space Cowboy - Jamiroquai

If I was asked "who's my favourite band", it'd be tough, but I'd probably say Jamiroquai. I was hard pressed to just pick one song, but I'll go with Space Cowboy because there are so many versions that slap.

1. Matrix II (Trance Mix) - The Cynic Project

Starting with some oldschool jams, this was probably my first real introduction to trance (ah, 10 year-old Ren and the Morpheus/Limewire days...)
To say it influenced my taste in music would be an understatement.
