Typically disingenuous, incomplete, and misleading, and the views of someone who has never, and will never have to make any government decisions.

No. The rampaging of the tories, which you suggest is positive, has ruined the country as well as their reputation. Labour should not follow that lead. And they are categorically not aping reform. Accusations of such like are themselves truly pathetic.

Just because Mr Dubs arrived on the kindertransport does not make him right about everything on this matter.
November 28, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Haha, OK, my bad if sarcasm was the point 😉 Not easy nowadays as so many are indeed posting such madness in all seriousness.

Twitter was great before nazi boy destroyed it, because there was debate from both sides. Now, everyone has become siloed into their own echo chamber. Threads, don't know, not keen on another meta app.

Bluesky is not the place I'd hoped. It's just as awful as x. Just 2 extremes of the political divide.
November 17, 2025 at 10:35 PM
No. They. Are. Not.
November 17, 2025 at 10:07 PM
No, I don't smegma. And no it's not performative, or cruel. You've just decided that living in a wannabe dream world is where we're at. Spolier, it's not! Enjoy your fantasy, I'd rather like practical problem.solving politicians.
November 17, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Part of the problem?! You blithering idiot. Go and enjoy your student politics class.
November 17, 2025 at 10:02 PM
What an idiot he is. Like many numskulls who are given way too much air time because of past glories.
November 17, 2025 at 9:54 PM
And to be frank, there is no other party around, on either side of the debate, that can address these issues in a humane, practical, and politically sound way other than Labour. And they are doing that.
November 17, 2025 at 9:32 PM
That's all very well and good. Most people don't want to protest or attend rallies, some will, but that alone is not the answer. There is a problem with the asylum system, and bringing in the measures today is a reasonable attempt to address those problems, without sacrificing British values.
November 17, 2025 at 9:30 PM
I don't disagree that we should all do that, but 99% of people do not do that. And sadly, that alone in the current distorted media and social media landscape is not enough. Some action also has to be taken. Allowing things to continue as they are is not an option.
November 17, 2025 at 8:57 PM
I applaud her bravery in addressing the issue actually.
November 17, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Why do you care what that scumbag Yaxley Melon thinks or says, or anyone who brings him into any serious debate? Nothing he says or does should be taken with any seriousness at all, yet you use him to make a totally disingenuous point. Tell us, what are your solutions to the immigration hysteria?
November 17, 2025 at 7:13 PM
Well said 👏 Quite a lot of people love to throw all kinds of pretty awful, extreme abuse at Labour/Starner. This is particularly self-defeating when it's they who are tasked and trying to repair things in the real world. As you have said, they have already set about that task.
November 17, 2025 at 6:09 AM
It's temporary, as he'll shuffle of this mortal coil at some point. And hopefully when (if!?) midterms take place. Hopefully sanity will prevail! 🙃
November 11, 2025 at 1:35 PM
Just because zp says something, does not make what he says true. It's his opinion. Actually, nato is surviving, even with Trump. And hopefully after a couple or three years when he's gone it will remain the only barrier to external aggression. Anyway we'll see. Thanks for the link 👍
November 11, 2025 at 1:18 PM
However distasteful trump is, it is a temporary situation. To say that the uk should explore options outside nato sounds remarkably like 'I want to leave nato'. There are no other options, all sane european countries will say the same. And ZP is hardly bringing a wealth of experience in this field.
November 11, 2025 at 1:12 PM
I'll happily stand corrected if I hear him say otherwise 😊
November 11, 2025 at 12:44 PM
So anybody who doesn't agree with you is a daily express reader. Dear me.
November 11, 2025 at 12:41 PM
It's a free country, so do as you see fit, at least until the rascists get in. Perhaps somebody should have a word with ZP to tell him that his desire to get out of nato is quite literally insane.

The election is 4 years away. What really is the point in banging on about that? And if anyone thinks that Green really is an option to govern for the majority of people in the country, well, I would suggest they need their heads testing. Better still, get a new hypnotist.
November 11, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Agreed, but none which will govern. My view, it depends on one's local constituency. If green is a realistic challenger to either the tories or reform, I'd vote for them. Equally, if they are not, and labour (or lib dems) are the challenger to the right, I'll vote accordingly. Just seems sensible.
November 11, 2025 at 12:17 PM
That might very well be the case, but the vast majority of those within and associated with Labour very much try to make the country better, as opposed to those on the right who actively do the opposite. It's fine to challenge, as we all should do, but a bit of perspective is required I think.
