Haha however I will say they do sometimes become food for the hawks and owls we have. It’s late winter. Everything is hungry. Those hawks are super fast lol 🥰

We are very cold here too. But if done in the morning. The mouse has plenty of time to find a burrow. Which there are plenty. We release not far, the field nearby, we haven’t had any come back. Mice are super smart 🥰 they get all happy to be released.

I also found they work way better!! The family comes out to see where they went?!? And they don’t smell/see death, so they don’t get scared and avoid the traps. Also less smelly and better for the owls and hawks we have around. And they have a chance at finding each other again in the field. 😍❤️

I had one single small sneaky mouse last year getting to all of mine at like 3am. So I put out one of those humane traps and released him back out into the field. Haven’t had an issue since.
