Really glad I played through Ys IX again 3 years later. It may not have as good of a story or world as VIII, but I really felt like the characters (main and NPC) were better here. The gameplay and music is also as good or better than VIII as well imo

I love this ending for Anemona! Her papa's final gift is an actual body for her. Really hits when you look back at her previously saying she wishes she could 'feel the world like humans can'

After episode 7 I ended up binge reading the whole manga lol. It was a cute read and I totally could relate to the MCs Takuya and Rika as an introvert myself. I was also rooting for their coworker Gonda with his love issues as well
