Our website has massively improved since Labour for Hertsmere were elected to run the council in 2023. We still have work to do to use plain english in some older web pages as well as adding AI search. You can see how our website score has improved below.

During the day we took part in discussions and round tables about how councils are using AI to help members of the public answer questions about our services as well as the importance of content managememt to help simplify the language used on our website.

We were here to share the work we have carried out to upgrade the Hertsmere website to a modern, accessable and decentralised content ownership model. Hertsmere were first to upgrade to the latest version.

I visited the site to hear about their plans in February 2024 and look forward to sharing information about their progress when the new studios are built.

Whilst we would love TFL to help us fund this route, it was originally a part of the 84 bus route funded by Hertfordshire County Council.
