That's just wild to me though, the cold to me represents either being wet and numb and in pain or shoveling snow and ... wet and numb and in pain. I've gotten used to the cold near the Great Lakes but... I just want some 100F+ and 0% humidity again.

oh no, no swampy heat is a nightmare. Bad memories be what they are, with no such association it is the worst. You're hot and sweating and it doesn't do anything, you're just hot and greasy and sticky and nothing fun happens as a payoff.

maybe cause I grew up in the damp-ass PNW--GIRL you are crazy. Cold is the worst! It's like being covered in a blanket that hurts you!!
...however, 105F at 0% humidity is great, love just walking outside and feeling all the moisture leave my skin
