Gentle reminder that people appreciate alt text on images (both sfw and nsfw, really) and you can toggle an option that prevents you from posting without it.

It's not-so-hidden under "Accessibility" in the "Settings" menu.

More sharing because sometimes the sweet moments hit harder than the kinky ones.

This segment was the result of editing #olcl Chapter 2. Outlines only take you so far and, once in a while, I surprise myself in the characters' vulnerable moments. Something throws itself into the mix all on its own.
An exchange between Andrew and Paige during Chapter 2. Paige is attempting to tell Andrew that she's interested in him, but her nerves prevent her from doing so directly. There's a heartfelt series of confessions as Paige talks vaguely about trouble with "a boy she likes." Andrew listens as she tells him "I did something that I shouldn't have and I can't fix it right now," and "I want him to like me, but I can't change something about me, and I don't know if he'll be okay with it."

An excerpt from Renn's third chapter of "Our Little College Life." Andrew shows hints of some disappointment in Paige not being present while Paige, still in her 9-year-old form, regrets her earlier decisions. However, mistaking her cues as boredom, Andrew offers to postpone his studies and change to a more entertaining activity for his small hostess. Paige's mental struggles against her libido continue, but she opts to let a DVD play while Andrew continues his work... provided he's comfortable with her sitting near him.

I put this together... a while ago, now. I was a little surprised to find a picrew with two characters and I couldn't help but fit Andrew and (Little) Paige into it.

I have so many plans, so many ideas, and I love this pairing.

Not sure what the proper content warning is for this, but the general topic is going to be surgeries, medical implants, and death.

I've been stuck thinking about it, so I figured I'd spare you from it, but I need to spill it somewhere. Don't click the image of the bizarro Earth.
Warning: The image of the bizarro Earth only conceals terrible descriptions and grief. I'm not good with hospitals. I don't do well visiting people in them and I don't like the idea of ending up there, myself. Dad had a number of operations over the years. Hip replacements, back surgery, even a triple bypass. The latter two involved a lot of tubes. Visits were... really difficult. I don't know what levels of pain tolerance he built up, or what he was able to feel inside after his operations, but my dad was a beast when it came to "I'm fine. I'm dealing with it" as a cover. When you're cremated, your spouse gets EVERYTHING back. Ashes and implants. Mom showed me the two bags. One was ash. The other was metal. Joints. Plates. Wires. Screws. I didn't like that. Still don't. It's going to haunt me. I don't want to know what having that in there felt like, but I can guess. And it's not pleasant. More than a dozen screws from his back that were easily 3 inches long. Wire that held his ribs closed after his bypass. Replacement hips and the metal spikes that would've been connected to bones. It was awful.

I don't remember the specifics, but it was someone's character in a TTRPG campaign. The player was wearing an unusual shirt and I wanted to capture the look of the sleeves connected to the side.

Text taken from an in-progress Chapter 2 of Renn's "Our Little College Life" work on Archive of Our Own, it reads as follows: "I remember it, don't worry. A couple more weeks and the campus will feel like home. Name's Lelaina. Don't make me find out yours by causing trouble during my shift at the desk, alright?" "Just here for a little calculus tonight. I'm Andrew. Good to meet you, Lale... Lai-" Come on, I just heard her say it. "Lelaina," she chuckled. "Don't sweat it; I'm 'Laney' to most everyone around here." "Laney it is, then." "That first month can be rough, but you'll manage!" An encouraging smile crossed her face as she waved her hand towards a hallway to her right. "You'll find 204 on the east half of the building. Stairs are down-" A trio of screaming, giggling elementary students dashed out from the hallway and Laney slammed her fists on the desk. "HEY! Where are you three supposed to be?" The girls froze in their tracks. "...not here?" One squeaked. "Get to your sisters' rooms or I'll call your parents and your butts will be headed home!" The three quickly and quietly shuffled into a hallway on the opposite side of the lobby. "Sorry about that. Some of the seniors take their siblings on weekends during the first few weeks. Gives the parents a break, the kids get to see the campus, and course loads are light enough where it doesn't interfere with homework most of the time. Parker's an all-female dorm... so the girls invite their sisters and... turn them loose in the halls." Laney sat down with a sigh. "It's great fun. Excellent birth control. Anyway. You were headed somewhere?" "Room 204."

A few lines from the story, which may change a bit before all is said and done. It reads as follows: Andrew watched as the handle slowly turned downward. It recoiled for a split second and he heard a quiet "Come on, stupid thing..." from behind the thick wooden door. As it finally began to swing on its hinges, he straighted his posture and faced forward. "Hello! How are y-" His eyes caught the top of a young girl's head and he looked down at her. "Oh! Um.... Hi?" Say something. Don't stare. Invite him in. God, he's a lot taller like this. Say something. Stop staring. Say something! Paige's cheeks flushed as she stood in the doorway.

Been tinkering with #koikatsu as a break from that prologue. I have a LOT more to learn...

Could do with a bit more detail -- maybe the door, faucet, and shower curtain -- but not too shabby a mirror shot for a first go.

Anyhow, here's our little Paige, not quite ready for company anymore.
The reflection of a young blonde girl with green eyes in a bathroom vanity mirror -- the mirror adds a pale blue tint to reflected objects. She's only seen from her shoulders and up, though only tall enough to take up the lower half of the mirror. Her hair is a bit of a mess and her glasses are oversized and slightly falling off her face. Her cheeks are blushed and she has a somewhat sad expression. The neckline of her shirt is yellow and the rest is green, perhaps a nod to the Green Bay Packers NFL team. The bathroom tile surrounding the mirror is a simple pattern of white flowers with blue centers on a light gray background. It's also seen, though smaller, behind the girl in the reflection. There is a towel rod and burgundy-colored towel hanging on the wall, partially obscured by the girl.
