Our public schools reflect Nebraska’s values. They are open to all, free to attend, and governed by locally-elected school boards.

We elected a board president after a historic 54 rounds of voting.

It’s official! I was sworn in last week along with three other board members.
The ceremony was bolstering — for one brief stretch there was respect for the institution, general goodwill & a sense of camaraderie between our state legislators & the board regardless of political affiliations.
