Indeed. Had a grill stolen by handyman working on house I was renting. Landlord defended him, despite wondering why all his tools kept getting stolen. Thief died in a drug buy gone bad a little later. Shoulda left my grill alone.

Had one like this. Stolen outside the local 7-11. So my mom forbade me to go to the 7-11. Like getting my bike stolen was my fault. After that she bought me a shitty bike nobody would steal.
