If I could do this look as well as you I would also never change! I need to learn your ways.

This headline made me think the size range would be more inclusive than it is. Would love to see some plus-size options as well!

I liked Carlos’s pink and purple US Open kit, but other than that it’s been a lot of hideous outfits.

T. Kingfisher is my answer for this. I find all of her books to be delightful, funny reads that typically include one or two surprisingly horrifying/gross bits. I’m currently rereading Paladin’s Grace which is a favorite of mine. It’s romantic and funny and the beginning of a great series.

Yes this is so annoying to me! I’ve figured out Utahns say it a lot, not sure about other regions.

What makes a lens clinical? I’m a lens designer but I mainly do projection lenses and microscope objectives which are intended to be as aberration-and distortion-free as possible. I’m tempted to try to design myself a camera lens but I’m wondering what makes one of those special to a photographer.

Mine still has Pepsi and every time I hit the food court for a hot dog I hope it’ll be the last time I have to suffer through it

I like both of these women a lot, so it’s not based on that, I suppose it’s just based on my ability to have an independent relationship with each aunt. When you’re 5 you can’t still hang out with your cool ex-aunt, but at 35 you certainly can.

Hmm, my uncle divorced when I was pretty young (five or so?) so when talking to my cousin it’s always “your mom” and not “aunt”. But if my other uncle were to divorce now, deep into my adulthood, that cousin’s mom would still be “aunt”.

Do you have any tips you can share or is this just something you have to feel out after years of experience? This is a skill I’m quite envious of!

That’s awesome! I used to get my prescriptions filled at a local chain and I’m still sad that my insurance stopped working with them and forced me to go to the national place. They took such good care of me at the old place 😭

I adore these books so much! Very sad that the series is ending, but excited to see what else you’ll write, since I liked the Helios Syndrome quite a bit as well.

It’s ridiculous you still need to say this! We’ve known substack supports fascists for YEARS at this point!

My face hurts from how much cringing I’m doing.

This is so cool! I’m an optical engineer but I’ve only designed systems using glass optics, never anything 3D printed! I’d love to try this.

Lilacs are the best. Beautiful colors, wonderful aroma, great shape.

I haven’t looked forward to anything as much as I’ve looked forward to this and I don’t think I would’ve survived it being bad (though I had faith it wouldn’t be). Hearing so many positive reviews this morning is making my day.

This is everything I could hope for from a Severance s2 review and it’s basically all I want to know beforehand. I started my rewatch yesterday and I cannot wait for more!
