I've just had a look at that FB page and genuinely can't work out if it's a spoof. Literally every post and reply is a stereotype of thick, illiterate, uninformed racism.

I still remember seeing the Birthday video for the first time and being utterly entranced. Never saw her (or Sugarcubes) live, though.

I have to say that I don't feel as optimistic as you do after listening, Andrew. Especially after Molly pointed out how things can go very-tits-up-indeed in the next 12 months over there. Fascinating discussion, though.

The fundamental belief behind all of this is that refugees do nothing but 'take' from the country in some way, rather than make a positive contribution, given the opportunity. And if that isn't what they believe, then this is pure cynicism. Either way, it's sickening.

Don't forget also that every room was filled with cigarette smoke, and coal fires were still in widespread use. Idyllic, really.
