Fall 2025 at Pine Grove. On a day when it all came together: the light, the clouds and the foliage. Stood for about five minutes waiting for the slowly drifting cloud to get in just the right position.

Rusty Arch. This is an arch on the bridge over the Connecticut River that is part of the "Rail Trail" taking you between North Hampton and Hadley. A great place for a walk or bike ride that goes on for several miles.

Purple Dahlia at Pie in the Sky Berry Farm is pick your own and it has several varieties of many crops including blueberries, veggies and dahlias. The farm is organic and supports habitat for pollinators and birds. A great place to go in Northampton, MA.

Snowy Owl in rehab. On a photography trip, I stopped in at the Vermont Institute for Natural Science which has a wild bird rehab center for injured birds (vinsweb.org/wild-bird-re...). I saw this guy and was struck by his beauty.
