The beauty of Leyden is that it stays regular full-fledged Java. No feature compromises, nothing is impossible. All your nonsense code continues to work but starts faster. From there, the JVM continues to work its magic.

The last 325 ms difference is not worth the long compile time IMO. Leyden will rule Java easily.

The XML and XSD APIs in Java but also the specs in general are horribly complex. No wonder that fell out of favor and JSON replaced it, leaving on the other hand other things open... no middle ground.
