The only "mandate" I see here is utter and destructive apathy. The tragedy of this past election is predicated upon the fact that over a third of the electorate doesn't give a fuck about our nation.

Spanky-the-Rapey-Insurrectionist's vote total today fell below 50% of the electorate. Based on my math he's going to win the popular vote by less than the amount of votes Hilary beat him by. This is no mandate. We still have power.. And we'd have more, if the 15 million Dems who sat out had voted.

This 9-year-old Mexican Immigrant child will soon be targeted by Trump's jack-booted, racist, thuggery... Yet, she still holds a candle of hope for the return of the America built by the tired huddled masses yearning to be free.

Imagine if the election had been between two candidates named Oklahoma and Massachusetts. But, you don't have to imagine... This starkly tells us what the majority of the electorate voted for.
